truTV's is revving up the concept behind its popular series SPEEDERS with the launch of
SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK. This new series details the fascinating and often hilarious things people say and do in court in desperate attempts to get out of tickets. Premiering Oct. 16, SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK will air Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), following all-new episodes of SPEEDERS.
Based in Broward County, Fla., SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK shows everyday citizens
who transform themselves into some of the wackiest legal eagles ever, giving
viewers a laugh-out-loud trip to traffic court. From high-speed daredevils
to in-your-face road-ragers, these amateur advocates will say and do
anything to get out of a ticket. Experienced and tough, Chief Magistrate
Brenda Di Ioia keeps everyone honest as they have their day in court.
Among the wackiest pleas and arguments featured in SPEEDERS FIGHT BACK are the following:
"Officers pull over red cars more than any other car on the road.
It's not fair!"
"The officer pulled me over because I had a Mohawk."
"The police have a 'vindictive' against me."
